Daily COVID-19 statistics for the Cayman Islands
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 331 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Wednesday, 10 February 2021. Three were positive. The individuals are travellers who tested positive following routine screening. They will remain in isolation until considered recovered. The total number of COVID-19 vaccines administered to date is 15,543, with 6,371 people having completed the two-dose course so far. Read more
For symptomatic patients:
10 days after symptom onset, plus at least 3 additional days without symptoms (including without fever and without respiratory symptoms). Persons will then be retested and must obtain two negative tests 24 hours apart.
For asymptomatic cases:
10 days after positive test for COVID-19. Persons will be then be retested and must obtain two negative tests 24 hours apart.
